Many years ago, when we lived in Utah, we had a tradition of making gingerbread houses with many of our friends. It was so much fun but it got to be huge! Way too huge and when we moved to NY I only let the tradition come out a few times with some friends and the neighbors. And for the past few years we didn't make houses at all! I am ashamed! But thanks to some friends wanting to play we got together and Lydia made her first gingerbread house! Out of Graham Crackers, of course. meg rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe next year we will continue with the tradition - Daphne will you come?
My frosting was lame and Lydia's roof ended up flat!
Meg's house was declared a disaster area
by the governor of New York State
It collapsed moments after the picture was taken.
Camille's house was a T.P. and I do
believe she ate every single piece of
candy that she put on the place!

I love the dialog with the houses. What fun Christmas traditions.
