The Catholic Charities of Saratoga County has an annual fundraiser that I love to go see. It's the festival of trees. I love to see the unique ideas people come up with to make the trees beautiful with their own special style. I have attended other festival of trees events in other locations and they have been impressive but this little event is charming and easy to get through in a short time! I remember going through the acres and acres of trees in an event in SLC for hours and hours. While I do miss the grandness of it all I have to say our charming little Saratoga has won my heart for it's simplicity, the wonderful people, and for the past two years members our family have had part in creating a few of the trees with others from church.

This is the gingerbread man tree the Relief Society did.
There were lots of "couples" made out of the Gingerbread people
It was very creative! I liked the missionary companionship!

This was my personal favorite!
The Candy tree.
Lydia wanted to eat all the mints below the tree!

Lydia is thrilled to have such
a fine young man in her life.

I don't think he is as thrilled about it as Lydia!

Yes, we took the Christmas picture at Festival of Trees
My girls are goofy!

This is the tree done by the activity Day girls
group that Megan is a part of. They made
pine cone angels.

I just like this one!
