Pleasantville

There are so many simple wonderful pleasures in life

and I am so glad I get to experience so many.

This was Friday after school. Lydia & I were on the swing reading, when

the older girls came home off the bus they joined us.

I am thrilled that they love to read, and that my husband could

make such a fun porch swing for us to play on! Every year around mother's day I get to enjoy my

"Flowering Crab Apple" tree and so many other

trees in bloom around the neighborhood.

This is one bonus of no longer living in the desert.

I can fully appreciate the joy of spring after the cold, wet winter!
