Mother's Day

Camille knows that my most favorite flower in the whole world are dandelions. Now this is not quite accurate but I do love to get dandelions from my girls for a few reasons. First, it's a great way to show love (ahhhh - I know). Next, it's a great way to get my girls to pick the flowers out of the lawn before they go to seed and can reproduce. So the fact is that whenever I get a dandelion bouquet I gush over it and make a big deal and hope to receive may more through such exhibits of love and weed control! I did have a horrible thought the other day - what will I do when my children are all teenagers and they don't pick the dandelions for me -sad isn't it?

BTW- Camille said there were over 100 dandelions in the bouquet!

So, it's not a great picture but that's OK. The point is I'm the mom and it's my day and they love me and I get all the gifts and that is the way it is! At least for today, tomorrow I'll return to a life of a bit less recognition but hey, I like the mom thing so I think I will be OK! And isn't Lydia so cute!!!!
